This year Kari Hoaas is featured artist giving workshops and lectures demonstrations at Dansetorget 2019 hosted by Dansekunst i Grenland, regional scene for dans i Telemark, Porsgrunn, Norway.

Kari will offer a two day workshop for professional dancers sharing the movement practice developed for her recent work HEAT, and setting a score based on this work for the workshop group to be shared in a public showing during Dialogscenen: Saturday, May 25th at 16.00 at Ælvespeilet Kulturhus.

Kari will conduct a workshop for dance teachers sharing her own teaching philosophy and discussing the artist role as teacher, sharing some of her own workmethods for students as a springboard for the group discussions.

She will also visit the local high schools Skien Videregående skole and Thor Heyerdahl Videregående skole dance departments to give master classes to the students.
